The Logistics Of Adultery

The Logistics Of Adultery

In the 15th year of their marriage, Ben and Martha come to an emotional and psychological crossroads. Their only child was stillborn. Now, Ben is made redundant from his printing job. Ben, dreamer and poet, wants to start a second-hand bookshop in a small country town. Martha is reluctant to leave their Dublin home. They agree on a compromise but will their marriage survive this development.

Ben meets a female African artist, Indigo. Her art and empathy impacts him. Knowing about Ben’s stillborn baby, Indigo created a narrative painting for him. Her imaginative art attempted to highlight the disrespect and hypocrisy concerning attitudes toward stillborns and their secretive burials. After this mystical and dramatic event, Martha, his separated wife then reunited with him.
